STG Presents Russell Peters at The Paramount Theatre in Seattle on Friday, June 11 and Saturday, June 12, 2010.
Recently ranked by Forbes -- along with Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock -- as one of the top ten highest grossing stand-up comics in the U.S., Peters has set the Seattle date as part of his “Green Card Tour,” featuring all new material since the release of his latest DVD, Red, White and Brown. With his signature irreverent take on race, culture and all of our so-called differences, Peters has gained a devoted global following and has been packing theatres, arenas and clubs worldwide for two decades.
Peters uses his wry and funny observations about race, class and culture to illuminate our human shortcomings with the sizzling accuracy of a well-aimed laser. His quick wit and gift for mimicking languages and accents allows him to create characters of all races and cultures to forge an immediate bond with his audience, regardless of their cultural background.
Peters televised specials and DVDs are chart-toppers throughout the world and he is one of only a handful of comics to sell out Madison Square Garden in its long and storied history. Over the course of his twenty-year career, he has headlined comedy festivals across the Globe and gained a devoted following, he has performed sold out tours of China, South Africa, Australia, the UK, Singapore, Sweden, Norway, Lebanon, Bahrain, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and India. His recent show at New York City's Radio City Music Hall sold-out in less than 72 hours with additional shows added.
