Education & Community Programs > Overview

Investing in meaningful experiences for our community and future generations of performing artists

Seattle Theatre Group® Education and Community Programs extend beyond the Paramount, Moore and Neptune Theatre stages and into the lives of the greater Seattle community. Each season, STG offers over 150 education programs impacting over 40,000 students and community members from diverse ages and backgrounds.

41,695 community members experienced the arts through STG Education and Community Programs in our 2015-2016 season. 1,089 non-ticketed events (like classes, civic engagements and workshops) were hosted with 22,780 in attendance and 5,051 students and performers of all ages. 916 free programs (like historic theatre tours, Nights and the Neptune and more) attracted 17,413 community members.

These programs:

  • Deepen significance to performances through opportunities to engage with artists
  • Inspire youth and local artists through training and performance opportunities
  • Provide exposure to the arts through access initiatives

> Access - free, monthly public tours of our three historic theatres and information on our Theatre Access Program (TAP).
