MORE MUSIC @ THE MOORE is a training and performance program for selected young artists representing diverse music genres. The program provides young artists training and rehearsal time with professional musicians; production and promotional support; recording experience; and the opportunity to perform live in concert at a professional venue, The Moore Theatre. Artists are selected through a curated process, recommendations and/or submissions. If you are interested in being part of the program, email Education.
Mentors for the program have included: STG Artist-in-Residence, New York based violinist, conductor and composer Daniel Bernard Roumain; Ernestine Anderson, jazz singer; Dave Dederer from The Presidents of the United States of America; R&B singer Bernadette Bascomb; local rock band School Yard Heroes; Jovino Santos Neto, professor/composer/musician; Michael Shrieve, original drummer of Santana; and Alan White, drummer for Yes.

Young artist talent, collaboration and mentorship is celebrated in the 10th annual More Music @ The Moore. The commemorative performance features exceptional musicians from past years mixing diverse music styles with newly selected young artists. More Music @ The Moore celebrates the rich musical talent of youth in our community and provides musicians, regardless of what style they play, the opportunity to make music together. Daniel Bernard Roumain, New York-based violinist, conductor and composer, returns for his sixth year to direct a fresh and uplifting performance.
