Enjoy your time with family and friends while listening to carols, sipping on eggnog, and roaming around Pike Place Market searching for the perfect gift. You can even visit Santa at the Northwest African American Museum or Wing Luke Museum. In the evening, holiday cheer continues with dazzling lights at Woodland Park Zoo, a countdown to the New Year at the Space Needle, and ice skating at Seattle Center.

While you plan for cozy weather and family time, here's a sneak peek at some of the spectacular shows and events coming to Seattle Theatre Group's historic theatres: the Paramount, Moore and NeptuneWhether you prefer enjoying John Water's delightfully unconventional holiday show, "A John Waters Christmas" or the family-friendly "Disney Jr. Live" costume palooza featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse live on stage, there's something sure to entertain everyone on your list! 


Seattle's Tribute to The Last Waltz

8:00 p.m., Nov. 25, 2022 | Tickets start at $20 | Neptune Theatre

As part of the annual tradition, Seattle's Tribute to the Last Waltz is teaming up with Seattle Theatre Group and Northwest Harvest for a benefit show paying homage to The Band and their classic 1976 concert, made into a film by Martin Scorsese, and hailed as one of the greatest concert films ever made.

Over the past several years, Seattle's Tribute to the Last Waltz, comprised of dozens of Seattle's most lovely and talented musicians have performed songs from The Band's "Last Waltz" raising tens of thousands of dollars for Northwest Harvest, as a part of KING 5 Home Team Harvest, which have provided hundreds of thousands of nutritious meals for our communities.

Yep, he's back, with Christmas lunacy throbbing in his veins.  Ready to reinfect the lunatic fringe with holiday jeer. "The Pope of Trash", as William Burrough once called him, is coming to your fair city on his annual festive home-invasion to slide down your chimney of burning gift wrapped needs and ignite your lust for presents. It'll be a combustion of Christmasly-incorrect kindling that will blaze into a glorious nut-case Noel fire from hell. Go ahead! Knock over that tree! Stomp your presents! Manger Danger! A raging new critical theory that no PTA can ever stop. Scream! Scream again! It's a John Waters Christmas for Chrissake!


Miranda Sings

Multihyphenate actor, comedian, vocalist, writer, and magician Miranda Sings is best known for her hilarious viral videos on YouTube and her Netflix Original Series "Haters Back Off!" Miranda has amassed more than 50 million followers across social media and passed four billion views on YouTube, and now she's coming to Seattle!

Pink Martini Featuring China Forbes

Featuring a dozen musicians, with songs in 25 languages, Pink Martini performs its multilingual repertoire on concert stages on six continents. After making its European debut at the Cannes Film Festival in 1997 and its orchestral debut with the Oregon Symphony in 1998, the band has gone on to play with more than 50 orchestras around the world, including multiple engagements with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, the Boston Pops, the National Symphony at the Kennedy Center, the San Francisco Symphony, the Cleveland Orchestra, and the BBC Concert Orchestra at Royal Albert Hall in London. In 2014, Pink Martini was inducted into both the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame and the Oregon Music Hall of Fame.

Pink Martini has released 11 studio albums on its own independent label Heinz Records (named after Lauderdale's dog), selling over three million albums worldwide. In 2019, the band released two EPs featuring the vocals of Pink Martini's newest members Jimmie Herrod and Edna Vazquez. Both vocalists have toured with the band for the past year and are officially part of the group with the release of Herrod's EP Tomorrow and Vaquez's Besame Mucho, both of which were co-produced by Thomas Lauderdale and China Forbes.

This show brings beloved Disney Junior characters and favorite Marvel Super Heroes live on stage for a jam-packed, concert-style show with singing, dancing, acrobatics, and more. It will feature favorite songs from hit Disney Junior series, as well as new original music.

Mickey, Minnie, and their pals are getting ready to throw a huge costume party but mysterious green weather keeps interrupting the fun. Can Spidey and his Amazing Friends help save the Costume Palooza? Come join the party and see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Doc McStuffins, Alice, the Puppy Dog Pals, and Marvel's Spidey and his Amazing Friends LIVE on stage!


Kiki & Herb: Do You Hear What We Hear?

This holiday season, prepare yourself for sleighing belles, rabid yells, and tidings of joy from New York's most iconic "octogenarian" lounge act, Kiki & Herb, created and performed by Justin Vivian Bond and Kenny Mellman. A match made in—depending on who you ask—a 1934 Western Pennsylvania children's asylum, the 90s San Francisco club circuit, or the dawn of time, this relentlessly fabulous duo will haunt audiences nationwide on a six-city tour starting in Boston with a brand-new holiday spectacular. Kiki & Herb: DO YOU HEAR WHAT WE HEAR? runs December 8, 2022. Hot off the heels of their sold-out run at Brooklyn Academy of Music last year, this tour will be Kiki & Herb's first shows out of NYC since 2007.

Ukulele master and jolly ambassador of aloha, Jake Shimabukuro, will bring joy to the world this upcoming 2022 Holiday Season by delivering a special gift for all with the debut of his highly anticipated holiday show, "Christmas in Hawaii".

With only four strings, Jake is a humble master whose mission is to connect and inspire people. Whether one on one or in front of an audience of thousands, Jake shares a deep emotional connection with the listener that is open, magical, and transcendent. Another holiday season brings another year of fabulous spectacle, whip-smart comedy, brand-new songs and annual favorites. Join the sugary DeLa and spicy Jinkx for an evening The New York Times says is "sure to lift your spirits and make you howl with laughter."


The Klezmatics

The Klezmatics are world-renowned and Grammy-winning superstars of the klezmer world. They erupted out of New York City's East Village in 1986 and revitalized klezmer for the new century with music that is steeped in Eastern European Jewish tradition and spirituality, while incorporating contemporary themes such as human rights and anti-fundamentalism with eclectic musical influences including Arab, African, Latin and Balkan rhythms, jazz and punk.


Peter Himmelman

Peter Himmelman is a Grammy and Emmy nominated singer-songwriter, visual artist, best-selling author, film composer, entrepreneur, and rock and roll performer with over 20 critically acclaimed recordings to his credit.

In addition to his own creative work, he is the founder of Big Muse, a company, which helps organizations to leverage the power of their people's innate creativity. Clients include The Wharton School, The UPennCLO Executive Doctoral Program, 3M, McDonald's, Adobe, and Gap Inc. His most recent book, Let Me Out (Unlock your creative mind and bring your ideas to life) was released in October, 2016.


Potted Potter
