Tour STG's historic theatres: the Paramount, Moore and Neptune

moore_theater_2014_0023 Moore Theatre

STG strives to be the people's theatre. In our vision, all are welcomed and represented. As a nonprofit arts organization, we steward three of Seattle's historic theatres: the Paramount, the Moore, and Neptune. STG offers Broadway productions, concerts, dance, theatre, lectures, education, community, film, and other enrichment programs. A multitude of artists and performers, partner organizations, donors and foundations, volunteers, and most of all – our patrons, make it possible for STG to fulfill its mission of activating these civic spaces.

Because we're the peoples' theatre, all are welcome to come check out these beautiful venues. Learn more about STG tours below.

Moore Theatre

The Moore is the hub for STG's Education & Community Programs, where young artists can hone their craft. It continues to be a venue that presents a broad spectrum of performing arts, such as dance, concerts, comedy, lecturers, variety shows, and more. In between downtown and Capitol Hill, the Paramount is a thriving landmark theatre.

Tours are on the second Saturday of every month. Please meet in front of the main entrance of the Theatre - on the corner 2nd and Virginia - by 10 am. The tours will last approximately 120 minutes and will be lead by members of our well-versed volunteer staff.

Paramount Theatre

An annual season of Broadway at The Paramount performances accompanies a series of dance, jazz, live concerts, speakers, comedy, special events, and family shows. The Silent Movie Mondays series draws thousands to experience a taste of the past accompanied by the original Mighty Wurlitzer Organ. A Theatre Access Program grants tickets to individuals and organizations without the means to attend theatre, and robust Education and Community Programs provide vital professional arts interactions for young and emerging artists.

Tours are on the first Saturday of every month. Please meet in front of the main entrance of the theatre – on the corner of 9th and Pine – by 10 am. The tours will last approximately 90 minutes and will be lead by members of our well-versed volunteer staff.
