International Dance Day Celebration

International Dance Day Celebration, Friday, April 29, 2022; 5pm - 9pm at Beach Park Event Center in Des Moines.

Join us for a FREE celebration of varied dance forms from around the world. Participate in movement workshops and experience dance performances from local guest artists. All ages, levels of dance, and abilities are welcome. Classes will be demonstrated both seated and standing.

ABOUT INTERNATIONAL DANCE DAY
The intention of the International Dance Day Message is to celebrate dance, revel in the universality of this art form, cross all political, cultural, and ethnic barriers, and bring people together with a common language - dance.

To participate in this event, participants will need to provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative PCR Covid test within 48 hours of the event and masks are required. Additionally, all participants may be required to undergo a rapid testing to mitigate transmission of the virus, provided by STG.
