STG Presents Bishop Blanchet High School's The Addams Family at The Moore Theatre May 1-3, 2020.
Bishop Blanchet High School Drama is excited to welcome you to the Historic Moore Theatre as they recount in song and dance the escapades and wisdom of The Addams Family! In this story, Wednesday is growing up, but Gomez and Morticia aren't quite ready to see their daughter pulled in a new, brighter direction. Unbeknownst to her parents, Wednesday has fallen in love with a "normal" boy, and when she invites her beau Lucas Beineke and his parents over for dinner, the Addams family must grapple with being good hosts without compromising their own macabre family values. Fasten your seatbelts for a fun-filled and captivating evening with Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, as well as all the ancestors that will leave the family (and us!) all charmed and changed forever.
As part of their mission of service, BBHS has opted to partner with Operation Nightwatch for their telling of The Addams Family. For over 50 years, Operation Nightwatch, a grass-roots, volunteer-led group of people, has dedicated themselves to loving and serving neighbors who are poor and homeless. Through the years, as the downtown Seattle community has changed, Operation Nightwatch has also shifted their focus to meet emerging needs. You can find out more about their mission and services at SeattleNightWatch.org. BBHS will be collecting a free will donation for all who would like to support the good work of Operation Nightwatch. They are also encouraging and asking all ticket holders to consider bringing an in-kind gift that would support their ministry to our poor and homeless neighbors.
