Pop-Up Donor Center for Bloodworks Northwest
Mondays - Wednesdays, June 15 - July 29, 2020
STG’s Paramount Theatre will be home to a Bloodworks NW pop-up donor center – providing an opportunity for our local community to accessibly donate blood during stay-at-home orders. Blood donors are exempt from both governors’ stay-at-home orders in Washington, and recognize the crucial role played by Bloodworks donors in sustaining community health care, especially during emergencies. Donating blood is an essential activity critical to sustaining community healthcare, especially during emergencies.
As the number of new coronavirus cases in our region declines, hospitals will once again be able to begin performing elective surgeries. This significantly increases the need for blood in the days and weeks ahead. We’ll need all our donors to step up, but if we’ve learned on thing in the last two months, it’s that “We Got This.” The one hour donation appointment is a safe and essential action to support local hospitals. The pop-up centers are being conducted in accordance with social distancing guidelines. No walk-ins, guests, or people under age 16 are permitted onsite.
Bloodworks has posted information addressing questions and concerns for blood donors at bloodworksnw.org/coronavirus.
Make your appointment here! Donors are asked to bring a mask/face covering to their donation appointment.
