STG AileyCamp uses the power of dance and personal development to support campers in developing a heightened awareness of their full potential, self-confidence, critical thinking skills and decision making skills to navigate difficult challenges. Created by Alvin Ailey and brought to the Seattle area by Seattle Theatre Group, AileyCamp combines disciplined dance training, personal development, creative writing, and visual art instruction to support youth in developing respect for themselves and others that meaningfully impact their lives.
The Leadership Group is for STG AileyCamp alum who have completed the program between 2016 - 2020. The class meets once a month and supports the alum in continuing their personal development work while also learning and developing who they are as leaders. During the class, we will be setting goals and working on the visions they have for their life.
