STG AileyCamp Leadership Group, November 17, February 23, and April 27, 2022; 5:00PM - 6:00PM Via Zoom.
STG AileyCamp uses the power of dance and personal development to support campers in developing a heightened awareness of their full potential, self-confidence, critical thinking skills and decision-making skills to navigate difficult challenges. Created by Alvin Ailey and brought to the Seattle area by Seattle Theatre Group, AileyCamp combines disciplined dance training, personal development, creative writing, and visual art instruction to support youth in deepening their respect for themselves and others that meaningfully impact their lives. Leadership Group is for STG AileyCamp alum who have completed the program between 2016 - 2021. The class meets three times a year and supports the alum in continuing their personal development work while also learning and developing who they are as leaders. Through art, exercises, and speaking alum will learn important tools for success while deepening their insight and awareness into who they are as growing human beings.
