BrainDance Warm-Ups
The BrainDance is a series of 8 movement patterns that connects with the different parts of our brains and can help us feel more awake, grounded, and refreshed. The BrainDance was created by Anne Green Gilbert of Creative Dance Center in Seattle, Washington. Our STG Teaching Artists have adapted the BrainDance to create musical theatre variations that also warm up our voices and imaginations, in addition to our bodies and brains. The BrainDance is friendly for all ages and abilities.
