About STG’s Digital Access Program

Our Digital Access Program is a variety of livestreamed and recorded events open to the public, as well as digital versions of existing STG Education & Community Programs. To learn more about our new Digital Access Program, click here.

In-Person Programming

In-person programming is currently on pause due to COVID-19 and for the safety of our students, artists, and community members.

STG’s Education and Community Programs Department serves over 56,000 Pacific Northwest residents each season. These programs uplift historically under-represented communities, and provide authentic opportunities to engage deeply with the artists and ideas of our times.

In the 2018-2019 season, our vision was expressed through 964 individual engagements including 750 free events and over 14,000 free or reduced cost tickets. We launched our first ever sensory-friendly performance of The Lion King and a digital education program with Dear Evan Hansen as well as expanded upon existing educational and community programs such as STG’s Dance for PD® , AileyCamp, Disney Musicals in Schools as well as Our Theatre Access Program provided 14,079 free or reduced tickets

These programs:

  • Deepen significance to performances through opportunities to engage with artists
  • Inspire youth and local artists through training and performance opportunities
  • Provide exposure to the arts through access initiatives
