Investing in meaningful experiences for our community and future generations of performing artists

Seattle Theatre Group® Education and Community Programs invest in meaningful experiences for our community and future generations of performing artists. Each season, STG offers over 260 education engagements impacting over 56,000 students and community members from diverse ages and backgrounds.

56,000+ community members experienced the arts through STG Education and Community Programs in our 2017-2018 season. 1,300 non-ticketed events (like classes, civic engagements and workshops) were hosted with over 39,000 in attendance and over 8,900 students and performers of all ages. 1,200+ free programs (like AileyCamp, artist residencies, Disney Musicals in Schools, workshops, community classes, historic theatre tours, Nights and the Neptune and more) attracted 24,000 community members with 8,100 students and participants.

These programs:

  • Deepen significance to performances through opportunities to engage with artists
  • Inspire youth and local artists through training and performance opportunities
  • Provide exposure to the arts through access initiatives

> Access - free, monthly public tours of our three historic theatres and information on our Theatre Access Program (TAP).
