Investing in meaningful experiences for our community and future generations of performing artists

Seattle Theatre Group® Education and Community Programs invest in meaningful experiences for our community and future generations of performing artists. Each season, STG offers over 200 education programs impacting over 55,000 students and community members from diverse ages and backgrounds.

55,450 community members experienced the arts through STG Education and Community Programs in our 2016-2017 season. 1,076 non-ticketed events (like classes, civic engagements and workshops) were hosted with 36,281 in attendance and 13,852 students and performers of all ages. 978 free programs (like AileyCamp, artist residencies, Disney Musicals in Schools, workshops, community classes, historic theatre tours, Nights and the Neptune and more) attracted 29,239 community members with 11,469 students and participants.

These programs:

  • Deepen significance to performances through opportunities to engage with artists
  • Inspire youth and local artists through training and performance opportunities
  • Provide exposure to the arts through access initiatives
