Reason to See It: This Austrian Expressionist film, based on a dystopian novel, predicted the rise of Nazism, with Jews attacked and forced to leave their homes. Shortly after the premier of the film in 1924, the author was murdered by a member of the Nazi Party. An original score commissioned and composed by Günter A. Buchwald from Germany, will be performed by ensemble musicians from the non-profit organization, Music of Remembrance.
