Join Us to Celebrate the Neptune’s Centennial!

Tuesday, November 16th

STG invites the community to celebrate 100 years of the historic venue, and ten years of incredible live shows at the theatre. The celebration includes beverages and snacks, a short video about the life of the theatre, and the honoring of an art installation by indigenous artist Joseph H. (wahalatsu?) Seymour signifying the acknowledgement of the land once inhabited where the Neptune Theatre stands. Following the presentations, STG is thrilled to continue the party with live performances by Billy Joe & The Dusty 45s, Ron Artis II & The Truth who will be releasing their latest album during our celebration, and more! The November 16th event is FREE with a reservation.

As we want all our community members to join us in the celebration, ASL will be provided for the performance. If you would like to attend and require an accommodation other than ASL, please reach out to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

With your support, STG stewards historic theatres which we believe creates more enriching arts experiences. When you step into our venues, there's a sense of connection to generations past as well as to those sitting next to you. We delight in seeing audiences awe-inspired by the magnificent architecture and creative details adorning our stages. As you can imagine, these spaces are expensive to maintain and we cannot keep them functioning properly without the support of individuals like you.

Neptune 100

As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Neptune Theatre this fall, we are further developing the institutional knowledge of STG’s three historic theatres, The Moore (1907), The Neptune (1921), The Paramount (1928). While honoring the legendary performances that have graced our stages and the audience they’ve delighted, we will also tell the story of those who have been excluded or marginalized. A clearer understanding of our past allows us to better fulfill our vision of being The People’s Theatre today.
