STG Presents National Theatre of Scotland's Let the Right One In at The Moore Theatre February 2 - 12, 2017.

Run time: 2 hours and 20 minutes, including intermission.

“I’m not that. I live on blood. But I am not…that…Can I come in?”

Oskar is a lonely, bullied teenage boy living with his mother on a housing estate at the edge of town. Eli, a girl who has just moved in next door - doesn’t go to school and never leaves the flat by day. Sensing in each other a kindred spirit, the two quickly become devoted friends. What Oskar doesn’t know however, is that Eli has been a teenager for a very long time... As their friendship deepens, a series of sinister killings shock the neighbourhood.

A must-see major production, LET THE RIGHT ONE IN is a truly rare piece of theatre, an enchanting, brutal vampire myth and a coming-of-age love story.

Tony® and Olivier® Award-winning director John Tiffany (Black Watch, Once, The Glass Menagerie) heads up a world-class creative team including Olivier Award®-winning associate director Steven Hoggett (Black Watch, Beautiful Burnout, American Idiot).

Supported by the Scottish Government International Touring Fund.

An age guide of 15 + is suggested for this production.

Stage adaptation by Jack Thorne
Based on the Swedish novel and film by John Ajvide Lindqvist
Directed by John Tiffany.

Let the Right One In twists your emotions inside out in a way you probably haven’t experienced since you were a teenager...And just when you thought you’d had your fill of young vampires in love, along comes a ravishing little romance of the undead that’s guaranteed to warm — and break — your heart, even as it chills your blood.” -Ben Brantley, The New York Times

“exquisitely beautiful...Tiffany's production—textured with Ólafur Arnalds' score and Steven Hoggett’s movement—is so painfully tender that, as you watch the show, it feels as if layers of your skin are gradually being flayed from your body.” ★★★★★ -Lyn Gardner, The Guardian

“astonishing”...Tiffany’s production is at once beautifully intimate and bedazzlingly epic….a paean to the confusion and pain and wonder of being a teen.” ★★★★★ Andrzej Lukowski, Time Out London

“The gasp, so rarely heard in the theatre, rings out often here. First-rate… situated on the slipway between dream and daily life… a mesmerising evening.”★★★★★ The Observer

“...Let the Right One In has a seriousness and emotional intensity that would disarm even the most militant sceptic…[Tiffany and Hoggett] have produced a piece that will chill you to the marrow and break your heart.” ★★★★ - Paul Taylor, The Independent
★★★★★ “Exquisitely realised”- The Herald
★★★★“Ambitious and beautifully shaped” - The Scotsman
