STG Presents Silent Movie Monday - A Woman of the World (1925) at The Paramount Theatre on April 9, 2018.
A WOMAN OF THE WORLD (1925) stars Pola Negri in a drama comedy in which a worldly flapper journeys to the other side of the world. The other side of the world turns out to be Maple Valley, Iowa, instead of an exotic retreat in the Himalayas. The film was directed by Malcolm St. Clair. Tedde Gibson joins us on the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ.
Running time: 70 min.
CineClub will immediately follow the film in the Paramount Lobby bar. CineClub host is Melinda Fox, co-Founder & CEO of Tanji, the first mobile ticketing app connecting audiences to women-centric film in theaters and online.
