
Josh LaBelle (he/him)
A longtime leader and collaborator in the music and nonprofit arts sector on the West Coast, Josh LaBelle is Seattle Theatre Group’s Executive Director, serving in the role since 2001. Josh grew up in Southern California and graduated from UCLA with a degree in World Art & Culture, spending four years with William Morris Agency in Los Angeles, starting in the mailroom, and working his way up to assistant in the Music Division booking concerts. He worked on the road for years as a musician, touring and recording primarily with T-Bone Burnett & Sam Phillips, eventually moving to Seattle in 1996 and beginning with STG that same year. His journey at STG started with the programming team, booking shows for the Paramount and Moore Theatres. Josh also serves as Board Chair for Inspire Washington and is President of the Board for Performing Arts Venues Alliance. He is an avid drummer and plays in a band called Bottle of Sound, loves dogs, good food, vintage drums, and most of all, the love of his life, his wife Colleen LaBelle, and their two children, Julia and Levi.

Adam Zacks (he/him)
Adam Zacks is a Pacific Northwest native with over 30 years of experience in the concert industry. His career began at the University of Oregon as the school’s National Music Coordinator, where the first show he booked was Public Enemy and Rage Against the Machine. After college he continued on the concert track with Double Tee, an independent promoter in Portland, OR as general manager of the Roseland Theatre. Adam moved to Seattle in 2001 to join House of Blues Concerts (which later merged with Live Nation), booking shows of all sizes for clubs, theatres, arenas, and the Gorge Amphitheater. During his first year with House of Blues, he conceived the “Sasquatch!” festival and continued to be the co-producer and sole booker of the event for its entire 17-year run. In 2007 he joined Seattle Theatre Group, where he serves as Chief Programming Officer. He oversees more than 600 events annually at the organization’s three historic theatres and Remlinger Farms, plus venues of all sizes throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. In 2019 STG and Zacks launched “THING,” a multidisciplinary arts festival. He is a founding partner of Do206.com and proudly serves on the board of directors at KEXP.

Nate Dwyer (he/him)
Driven by the conviction that exceptional teams can accomplish remarkable things, Nate Dwyer brings experience in organizational development and operational leadership, consistently centered around the arts. Since joining Seattle Theatre Group in 2017, Nate has been instrumental in ensuring the organization is strategically positioned and agile enough to embrace new and exciting opportunities. Before his tenure at STG, Nate served as Director of Human Resources & Museum Operations at Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), where he played a pivotal role in enhancing operational effectiveness and employee engagement. Earlier, Nate expanded his global perspective while living in the Middle East, where he led Human Resources and Organizational Development for Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Development and Investment Company. There, he contributed significantly to landmark cultural initiatives, including the creation and planning of Manarat Al Saadiyat, Louvre Abu Dhabi, and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.

Aaron Reader (he/him)
A passionate advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and access, Aaron Reader has spent over 18 years leading transformative change in education and the arts. Before joining Seattle Theatre Group in 2022, he spent 15 years in higher education in leadership roles dedicated to removing barriers for historically excluded communities. Now, as STG’s Director of DEIA, he leads key initiatives, including the organization’s first strategic equity plan and the Ricardo Frazer Executive Leadership Program for BIPOC arts professionals. Born and raised in East Oakland, CA, Aaron’s journey from overcoming adversity to shaping equity-driven practices fuels his passion for empowering others. A spoken-word artist, he has performed across the Pacific Northwest, using storytelling to inspire and advocate for change. His latest endeavor, From Dad With Love, is a podcast dedicated to fatherhood, exploring the joys, challenges, and lessons of being a dad. His work is rooted in the belief that art is a powerful vehicle for social justice, and he is committed to making STG a space where all communities feel welcomed and represented. When he’s not leading workshops, Aaron enjoys time with his wife and children, who share his love for the arts.

Alvin A. Henry (he/him)
Alvin Alexander Henry serves as the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Seattle Theatre Group. With over 25 years of experience in the performing arts, he has successfully implemented strategic plans and initiatives for marketing and public relations activities. He has also created and maintained a cohesive institutional image while utilizing new and innovative technologies to boost audience participation and increase earned revenues. An agile leader, he is deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Before joining STG, he worked with the Seattle Opera, San Francisco Ballet, La Jolla Playhouse, and City Center Theatre in New York City. In addition to overseeing media relations for City Center, Alvin directed, developed, and implemented marketing strategies for the arts complex’s national and international programs. Moreover, he has served as Associate Marketing Director for the Metropolitan Opera and has collaborated with the American Ballet Theatre, John Houseman’s The Acting Company, and the Theatre Communications Group. A graduate of the University of Michigan, he holds a Masters in Arts Administration. Alvin has served on the Advisory Council for Arts Reach as a panelist for the New York State Council on the Arts and as a San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau board member.

Marisol Sánchez-Best (she/her)
Marisol Sánchez-Best (Mixtec, She/Her) was born in Oaxaca, Mexico. Her work and passion is focused on theatre access initiatives and providing platforms for historically excluded communities. Prior to Seattle Theatre Group, she worked at La Jolla Playhouse as the Associate Director of Education. She has worked in the US and México as a theatre educator, actor, and teaching artist trainer. Marisol received her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University with a double major in Theatre Performance and Spanish and MFA in Performance from the University of Florida. Her biggest pride is elevating and sharing the beauty of her Oaxacan culture.

Gary Corrington (he/him)
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Gary began his career in banking and finance, starting at a local bank after college. He later served as General Manager of a private finance company specializing in auto loans for individuals who did not qualify for traditional lending. In 1999, he answered a classified ad in The Seattle Times that read, “this could be your dream job”—and it was. That opportunity led him to a Business Manager role at House of Blues Concerts, launching a career where his love for live music and financial skills came together. Over the next 25 years, Gary held leadership roles at Live Nation Concerts and AEG Live NW, and since 2013, he’s been with Seattle Theatre Group. In 2024, he was named CFO of the Year by the Puget Sound Business Journal.

Maura Ahearne (she/her)
Maura Ahearne is a New York native with over 25 years of experience bringing people together to experience and support the arts. Inspired by a love of music, her career path started by producing an annual three-day music and arts festival while at Hobart & William Smith Colleges and working alongside the Director of Lincoln Center Out of Doors. After graduation, Maura joined a four-person team at Central Park SummerStage, a free summerlong series that brings world-class artists to Central Park. She was lured to Seattle in 1998 to join One Reel at a time when the organization was producing Bumbershoot, Summer Nights at the Pier, WOMAD, Family Fourth of July, and Teatro ZinZanni. For 15 years, she has been leading and growing the fundraising that supports Seattle Theatre Group’s Education & Community Engagement programs; stewardship of The Paramount, Moore, and Neptune Theatres (and now Kerry Hall); and the diverse programming on STG stages. Maura is fueled by a belief that the arts enable us to transcend our daily challenges, open our hearts, and imagine what’s possible.

Nancy Del Villar Vivé, SPHR, SHRM SCP (she/her)
Nancy Del Villar Vive serves as the Director of Human Resources for Seattle Theatre Group and has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources including working in both nonprofit and commercial sectors. She worked for quintessential Seattle companies like Uwajimaya and Alaska Airlines but made the switch to the nonprofit sector years ago. Directly prior to coming to STG she served as HR Director for the Seattle Opera for nearly seven years. She is a member of the Arts HR Roundtable for the Seattle Area and is a Trustee for the Theatrical Health and Welfare Trust. Leading and supporting equitable employee practices has been a longstanding part of her work. Nancy believes an HR professional must strive to balance organizational and employee needs; she is passionate about helping people contribute their best and learn the most from their time with the organizations they serve. A Seattle native, she earned a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in Human Resources from the University of Washington and has senior HR Certifications from both SHRM and HRCI.
