STG’s signature dance program, now in its 28th year, brings together youth & adult performers from diverse communities for collaboration & to share their culture through the art of dance.

IMPORTANT DATES

This is a list of dates and events that are important for group leaders and events that require the entire cast. For specific schedules for your group see “Detailed Schedule” section. 

Arrive 30-minutes prior to all start times. 

ENTIRE DANCE THIS CAST

Finale schedule are listed in your individual group schedules in the next section. Your group leader should have talked with those participating in the Finale. 

Sunday, May 31: 12:00-6:00pm | Cross Cultural Workshop & Finale Collaborations | Kerry Hall
  • All performers MUST be present 
  • Group Leaders & Choreographers will teach 
  • Finale Collaborations between groups facilited by Finale Choreographers 
  • Snacks available, please bring food as needed 
  • All performers MUST be present the entire time 
  • Full costumes, props and elements 
  • No hair and makeup 
  • Entire Cast required 
  • Full dress rehearsal – costumes, make-up, hair, props, etc 
  • Photographer present 
  • 1:00pm | Youth Matinee | Moore Theatre 
    • 11:00am Call Time & Testing 
  • 7:30pm | Evening Performance | Moore Theatre 
    • 6:00pm Call Time & Testing

All participants (minors, adults, and group leaders) must sign this waiver. Signing this online form will allow STG to use photos related to the DANCE This program for promotion and in our archive. Emergency & allergy info is also collected.

$10 students/$18 advance purchase

Purchaser MUST add group name. Choose a group to support! 

HOW IT WORKS: 

  • Local groups receive 15% of the ticket sales for the tickets that each participant help sell to the Friday, July 10th evening performance! Matinee does not apply 
  • Make sure your friends and family purchase their tickets through these links ONLY  
  • There is a questionnaire in the checkout process that asks for the name of the related participant. Example: NTC, STG, Northside, etc. 
  • With this link ONLY (not the regular STG box office or public ticket link): 
  • pay no box office fees (saving nearly 1/2 the ticket price) 
  • groups earn money!

If you are a high school student interested in exploring dance, join us for a week-long residency at Fort Worden State Park at DANCE This Camp at Centrum!
