Resonate offers emerging artists resources that encourage them to thrive in the Music Business and offer a network of support and community.

This includes:

  • Quarterly panel discussions and Q&A with Music Industry Leaders on topics surrounding the Music Business
  • Social hour with snacks & beverages compliments of Starbucks
  • A focus on those 21+ who are emerging on the scene and/or those who want to continue to grow their music community & resources

$10, Need-based scholarships are available upon request.

RESONATE #7 – Beyond Our Backyard, June 15, 2026 featuring GrievesSeth McDonald, and RykerModerated by Eva Walker of The Black Tones and KEXP.    

Touring and connecting with audiences IRL are both more important and more challenging than ever. In this discussion, we’ll dive into when and how to hit the road, how to do so sustainably, and how to build the momentum needed to tour more frequently. 

RESONATE #6: The Art of The Release, March 2, 2026 featuring Guest Panelists Ryan Caraveo, Deep Sea Diver, and Ben Zaidi. Moderated by Eva Walker of The Black Tones and KEXP.  

There is a story in how we release our music. In this conversation, we’ll hear from artists who have built real momentum through thoughtful, intentional rollouts — not just releases. We’ll explore both the strategy and the emotional process behind sharing our work, including how to let go of art once it’s finished, how to speak about it with confidence, and how to invite audiences into the world we’re creating.

How do we redefine success in today’s ever-changing music landscape? This discussion will explore how artists can build a healthy relationship with goals and expectations, while recognizing the many forms that “success” can take. Together, we’ll look at success through the lens of sustainability and longevity in art.

What is the role of a Music Manager? How and when do you add this person to your team? How do you attract the right manager and manage your own career in the meantime? We’ll hear from successful managers and artists how this relationship can begin and sustain and change throughout your music career.

Monetizing your music can feel daunting or like an afterthought, but it’s actually one of the most important things you can do. Learn ways to set yourself up for success and be sure that you are in the know of where the money related to your art is going.

Being a musician is not an island. There is a community of creatives and artists that are there to support, and there are ways for you to bring others along. We’ll hear from those who’ve created thriving communities and how those communities continue to enrich their art and lives.
